+ Battlefield: Bad Company 2 game servers from NuclearFallout
BattleField: Bad Company 2 (BF:BC2, or just BC2) was released on March 2, 2010 as the sequel to Battlefield: Bad Company. It was created by EA's DICE studio and uses their new Frostbite multiplayer engine. The game is noted for the destructability of many objects, including buildings; by its large maps; by its ranking/scoring system that rewards continued play; and by its extensive use of vehicles.
EA has selected a limited number of "Ranked Server Provider" (RSP) partners and given them authorization to host BF:BC2.
Nuclearfallout (NFO) is one of these chosen BC2 RSP partners, and as a result, we are allowed to rent out servers for the game. As part of the RSP program, we also provide a significant number of public, official servers to the community.
Our custom control panel for BC2 is powerful and unmatched. We integrate many features, including an
admin daemon that can be used to control the server from inside the game, a
custom mapcycle editor that allows for multiple game types to be used (normally only one game type/playlist can be selected for the server), and an
rcon tool with streaming logs that allows for direct interaction with the game server. Some third-party products also provide similar features to these, and customers are welcome to run them instead, or in addition to, our solutions.
We have the
guaranteed best BC2 server performance, just as we have the guaranteed best performance for all our other game and voice servers. This is made possible by our extensive use of INAP bandwidth, highly underloaded machines, special tweaking tricks, and effective monitoring and automated systems.
